We left to the Baja 500 on Friday Afternoon just in time to make it through tech-contingency. The truck was looking better than ever! A brand new cab, fiberglass, dash board etc...
Shannon and Trevor left the start line at 11:15 on Saturday Morning. At about mile marker 50 we had a slight roll over, the truck ended up on the passenger side... Breaking the fiberglass, bending the light rack, and dash board, and loosing one front head light. There was a problem with the computer on the truck too, which lost us some time. Ronnie jumped in the truck at about mile marker 120 until they reached us at BFG Pit #2 at about 7:30 P.M. When Tyler and Gregg got in. There was a bottleneck crash that blocked the track for over 2 hrs. Everytime a truck would try to pass they would crash and increase the wait time for the other racers. Finally, they got through.... They got stuck in the silt a few times and had one flat tire. They finished the race early Sunday Morning. Unfortunately, the race had to be done in 20 hrs. And we finished in 20 hrs. 10 mins. We Would have had a 3rd place finish. We are hoping that score will extend the time because of the traffic jam delay. Other than that We all had a Great Weekend:)
